Patrice Fredericks, Secretary
Patrice Fredericks joined the Board of Directors in March 2017. She has lived in Oakland County for 12 years and is married and has raised 2 children here. She is self employed and it is because of that, she seeks to help those who have fallen on difficult times. In her business, she meets hundreds of people a year, some very fortunate and some less fortunate. Those who are less fortunate have had an impact on her and inspired her to find an organization that can help. She believes Love In Name of Christ is that organization and looks forward to the positive impact that the Board can make on our community.
I became a board member in January 2019 and attend Kensington Church. I have a bachelor's degree in Business Administration from WMU and am a licensed CPA in the State of Michigan. I have spent many years working in the govenunent and nonprofit sectors and have extensive grant writing experience. I currently serve as the Executive Director of North Oakland Transportation Authority, which serves the transportation needs of seniors, the disabled and low income persons in Orion, Oxford and Addison Townships. Through my position as NOTA Director, I have been exposed to the many needs in the surrounding areas and wanted to increase my impact through board membership at Love INC. I have faith that through my experiences at NOTA and throughout my own life, I will be able to help make an impact in our community.
Jonathan was appointed to the board in June 2019. After receiving a degree in Finance from Western Michigan University, he was a Financial Advisor, a partner in a commercial equipment leasing company and has worked in automotive supply chain management since 2015. Jonathan lives in Lake Orion with his wife and 2 children and has always tried to be a spiritual leader for his family by serving in the community through Woodside Bible Church. After being a member of a small group through Woodside and then leading a small group, he has seen how serving your community can be a blessing for all involved and an example for our children of the positive impacts of serving. He also believes through service you can empower kids to see their potential to have a positive impact. His goal is to help Love INC expand its base to enable the organization to reach more people.
